LOT 16 on route from EWR to WAW made a belly landing at Fredric Chopin International Airport in Warsaw at 2:30 a.m. on the 1th of November.Crew were unable to eject landing gear and flaps despite several attemps. Finally they decided to land without landing gears. Foam was not used on the runway and emergency vehicles surrounded the aircraft when it stopped along the runway.
The crew at LOT 16 showed very good airmanship and managed to transport all passengers without injuries to their final destination.
